The Liberty CITY (Community Improvement Through Youth) Project
The Liberty CITY (Community Improvement Through Youth) Project is a service-learning and project-based program designed to inspire students to become active contributors to their community. Each summer, the program centers on new themes and essential questions, fostering critical thinking and hands-on engagement. These opportunities focus on critical areas such as social-emotional development, college and career readiness, financial literacy, resume building, and workforce development.
The ultimate goal of the Liberty CITY Project is to increase students' awareness of community organizations and pressing local issues while empowering them to make a lasting impact. Through countless hours of civic engagement, LPP students have demonstrated the power of youth-led initiatives, transforming the community and building a brighter future.
